Service Technician – John Deere Construction & Forestry Equipment

Position Summary
The Service Technician diagnoses, repairs, and maintains John Deere construction, forestry, and industrial equipment in both shop and field environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
- Complete work orders and service documentation accurately.
- Communicate repair recommendations with customers and managers.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Participate in ongoing technical and manufacturer training.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience repairing heavy equipment, diesel engines, or related machinery preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
- Basic computer and diagnostic software knowledge.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to lift, climb, bend, and work in shop and outdoor environments.
