Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! Duties
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances.
- Install, calibrate, and upgrade various appliances and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
- Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment between sites as needed.
- Conduct HVAC system repairs including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and heating components to maintain climate control standards.
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service reports, and inventory records for all equipment serviced or replaced.
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects such as construction or renovation tasks requiring mechanical expertise.
Skills
- Extensive experience with appliance repair, installation, and service technician responsibilities.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to repair mechanical systems and understand schematics.
- Proficiency in HVAC & appliance technology including HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration).
- Skilled in refrigeration maintenance and repair of kitchen equipment such as ovens, dishwashers, and refrigerators.
- Experience working with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) supplies and procedures.
- Ability to operate construction tools safely and effectively; prior construction experience is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and problem resolution.
- Leadership qualities with the capacity to guide junior team members or apprentices when necessary.
