Job Summary:
The Equipment Technician supports daily manufacturing operations by performing mechanical, electrical, and preventive maintenance on production machinery. This role is ideal for individuals looking to grow into industrial automation and maintenance careers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and equipment repairs
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Assist in installation, calibration, and testing of new equipment
- Replace and repair parts (motors, belts, sensors, wiring, etc.)
- Document maintenance activity and ensure compliance with safety procedures
- Support senior technicians and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0–2 years of maintenance, mechanical, or electrical experience
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Basic understanding of PLCs, robotics, and control systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Reliable attendance and willingness to learn
Preferred:
- Experience in solar, robotics, or manufacturing environments
- Military or technical trade background
Work Schedule:
- A - Sunday - Wednesday 6:00 am - 6:00 pm
- B - Sunday - Wednesday 6:00 pm - 6:00 am
- C - Wednesday - Saturday 6:00 am - 6:00 pm
- D - Wednesday - Saturday 6:00 pm - 6:00 am
- All shift work every other Wednesday
- Overtime may be required
