Hourly Operations Manager
Bang Back Bar & Grill is looking for an energetic, hands-on Hourly Operations Manager to lead daily operations and ensure the success of every shift. As the Manager on Duty, you'll oversee Front of House, Back of House, bar, and entertainment operations while supporting your team, maintaining operational standards, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.
We're looking for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all restaurant operations during assigned shifts.
- Take ownership of shift performance, including guest satisfaction, team execution, labor, and service standards.
- Perform continuous travel paths to monitor operations, support staff, and address issues before they impact guests.
- Coach, supervise, and develop team members through real-time feedback.
- Coordinate communication between the kitchen, bar, service, and event teams during high-volume service.
- Monitor ticket times, food quality, cleanliness, and overall operational flow.
- Lead pre-shift meetings and communicate daily priorities.
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Assist with training, inventory, cash handling, opening and closing procedures, and daily reporting.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, alcohol service, sanitation, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant supervisory or management experience required.
- High-volume restaurant, bar, or hospitality experience preferred.
- Experience working expo and coordinating kitchen flow is strongly preferred, but we're willing to train the right leader.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Proactive, team-oriented, and willing to support any position as business demands.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience with pinball, arcade games, or entertainment venues is a plus!
