Job Summary:
Assists departments and customers that require multimedia audio/video related equipment such as projectors, sound equipment, cameras or other equipment. Assists with maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, programming, and configuring multimedia devices such as touch panels, streaming equipment, and control systems.
Job Duties:
Performs technical duties at events and departmental meetings which include the transportation, setup, and operation of audio/video equipment such as cameras, control equipment, streaming appliances, sound mixers, projectors, and associated cabling and computer connections. Assists with analyzing customer needs and making recommendations on equipment and/or related services. Coordinates with other departments and employees. Assists with the configuring and programming of touch panels, control systems, and streaming equipment. Transports and sets up the equipment for events that involve related audio/video equipment. Maintains audio/video related equipment, tools, and cables. Helps troubleshoot and repair multimedia equipment. Installs and repairs new and existing equipment. May require working from heights such as ladders or aerial trucks or lifts, confined spaces such as attics, crawl spaces, and or closets. Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications:
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
None required.
COMPUTER SKILLS
An individual should have knowledge of Contact Management systems, and Internet, Spreadsheet, and Word Processing software. Ability to use video editing software.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. Occasionally the employee will be required to work in construction zones and will be required to wear the appropriate safety equipment while performing the job duties and responsibilities. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
