Overview
ETI FAB is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to support the daily movement of materials, inventory, and finished goods throughout our manufacturing facility.
This position is responsible for receiving incoming materials, preparing outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate shipping and inventory records, operating a forklift, and helping ensure materials are properly received, stored, and available to support production.
The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, and able to balance physical material-handling responsibilities with accurate documentation and ERP system updates.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming products, materials, and supplies and verify quantities and condition against Purchase Orders, packing slips, invoices, and other receiving documentation.
- Identify and report shortages, damages, over-shipments, substitutions, or other discrepancies to the appropriate manager or carrier.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, documentation, and coordinating carrier pickups.
- Prepare Bills of Lading and other shipping documentation as needed.
- Load and unload materials using a forklift.
- Operate a forklift to move materials, inventory, and finished goods throughout the facility.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments, returned goods, dunnage, and returnable pallets.
- Maintain inventory records for work-in-process (WIP), finished goods, and other materials.
- Coordinate with managers to help maintain appropriate inventory levels and update the weekly needs sheet.
- Examine outgoing shipments to ensure products and documentation meet shipping requirements.
- Enter and maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory information within NetSuite and other applicable systems.
- Maintain an organized and efficient shipping and receiving area.
- Identify opportunities to improve shipping, receiving, inventory, and material-handling processes and assist with implementing approved improvements.
- Communicate professionally with internal teams, carriers, suppliers, and customers regarding shipping and receiving matters.
- Drive company vehicles as needed for authorized pickups and deliveries.
- May assist with General Laborer/Assembler duties based on production and business needs.
- Perform other related shipping, receiving, inventory, and clerical duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Previous forklift experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to accurately count, inspect, sort, and verify incoming and outgoing materials.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and assist with resolving shipping, receiving, and inventory issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with co-workers, managers, carriers, suppliers, and customers.
- Ability to exercise professionalism, courtesy, and sound judgment in day-to-day interactions.
- Comfortable using computers for data entry, recordkeeping, and inventory transactions.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems preferred; NetSuite experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently while also supporting production and other departments as needed.
- Ability to safely access and work throughout the manufacturing facility.

The right candidate will be comfortable moving between hands-on material handling and computer-based recordkeeping throughout the workday.
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
