We're looking for Custom Wood Craftsmen & Fabricators who thrives at the intersection of creative, custom craft and precise, engineered manufacturing.
In this role, you’ll take reclaimed wood and old logs and transform them into high-end custom box beams, accent walls, countertops, and mantels. You’ll spend your days blending traditional techniques—like hand-hewing and hand-crafting—with specialized texturing tools and modern production methods to create one-of-a-kind architectural features.

What You’ll Do
- Craft & Transform: Fabricate custom box beams, mantels, decorative walls, and interior wood products from reclaimed wood, timber and logs.
- Blend Old & New Techniques: Execute hand-hewing, hand-texturing, and specialized tooling alongside engineered manufacturing methods to fulfill unique client designs.
- Work from Specs: Read and interpret written work orders, ensuring precise measurements and exact specifications on every build.
- Maintain Quality & Safety: Keep a clean, organized, and safe shop environment while taking pride in the fit and finish of every piece that leaves the floor.
What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on Experience: Proven experience operating standard power tools, hand tools, and shop machinery safely and effectively.
- Material Appreciation: A passion for working with natural/reclaimed wood and an aptitude for learning advanced texturing and finishing techniques.
- Precision & Detail: Strong measurement skills and basic math computation for accurate layout and cutting.
- Adaptable Mindset: Openness to both creative, custom hand-work and repeatable, engineered production processes.
- Communication & Reliability: Clear verbal and written communication skills, a positive team-first attitude, and a strong work ethic.
Physical & General Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical labor throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Ability to regularly lift and move materials weighing 50+ lbs.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Bonus Points For:
- Experience in wood finishing, staining, or distressing techniques.
- Prior work with architectural millwork or timber framing.
