Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated technician to join our local powersports and outdoor equipment business. We work with several vendors on small engine repairs including Exmark, Stihl, and Polaris. All candidates must have prior experience in a shop working as a repair technician on small engines, off road vehicles, ATV's, UTV's and other equipment. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. The technician will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is safe, reliable, and performing at its best. Candidates must provide their own tools.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine small engine maintenance and repairs.
- Conduct small engine diagnostics to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions on ATV, UTV, handheld power equipment, and lawn mowers.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed on each vehicle.
- Operate forklifts safely when moving vehicles or equipment within the shop.
- Candidate must be reliable, honest and motivated.
- Candidate must have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Candidate must be able to work with a team committed to excellence and delivering quality service to its customers.
- Candidate needs to be organized.
- Candidate must provide tools to perform the job.
Experience
- All candidates must have prior experience in a shop working as a repair technician on small engines, off road vehicles, ATV's, UTV's and others.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment used in vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers professionally.
- Certification from an accredited small engine program is a plus but not required.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
