Boss Carpet One Floor & Home is looking for a dependable, hardworking team member who enjoys staying active, takes pride in doing quality work, and wants to build a long-term career with a family-owned company.
This position is much more than warehouse work. A large part of your day will be spent making deliveries throughout Northern Illinois and the Chicago suburbs, working directly with customers and flooring installers, and helping ensure every project gets off to a great start.

What You'll Do
- Safely drive a company cargo van, often towing a trailer, throughout Northern Illinois and the Chicago suburbs.
- Deliver flooring, cabinets, and related materials safely and without damage.
- Load, stage, secure, and unload materials for daily deliveries.
- Assist flooring installers at residential and commercial job sites.
- Help organize and maintain our warehouse.
- Remove existing flooring when needed (this can be physically demanding).
- Provide friendly, professional customer service at every delivery.
- Work closely with our warehouse, sales, and installation teams to keep projects moving smoothly.
- Perform a variety of warehouse and delivery responsibilities as business needs require.
What We're Looking For
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Able to regularly lift and carry up to 150 pounds with proper equipment and assistance when appropriate.
- Comfortable performing physically demanding work throughout the day.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
- Friendly, respectful, and professional with customers and coworkers.
- Able to work independently while also being a dependable team player.
Previous warehouse, delivery, construction, flooring, or material handling experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person with a great attitude.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting wage of $20.00 per hour (higher starting pay may be available based on experience).
- $300 per month health insurance allowance.
- $40 per month cell phone allowance.
