About This Role
As a Service Technician, you are often the final touchpoint in a homeowner's journey with us. When something isn't working as expected, you're the person who arrives with the expertise, professionalism, and determination to make it right. Every day brings a new challenge from troubleshooting product operation issues to developing solutions that exceed expectations. Your work directly impacts homeowner satisfaction and helps uphold the reputation we've built throughout Northeast Pennsylvania.
What You'll Do
- Provide in-home service for Renewal by Andersen windows and patio doors.
- Diagnose issues related to installation, product performance, or normal wear and tear.
- Perform repairs, adjustments, removals, and re-installations as needed.
- Leverage technical expertise to identify the best solution the first time whenever possible.
- Partner with internal teams, vendors, and technical experts to resolve challenges efficiently.
- Accurately document service activities and follow established procedures.
- Listen carefully to homeowner concerns and deliver solutions that reinforce confidence in our products.
- Clearly communicate findings, recommendations, and next steps throughout the service process.
- Share feedback and insights that help improve products, processes, and homeowner experiences.
- Continuously expand your product knowledge and technical skills.
- Support a culture of collaboration, accountability, and learning.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This is an active, hands-on role that includes:
- Working inside and outside of customer homes in varying weather conditions.
- Standing, kneeling, crouching, bending, twisting, and climbing throughout the workday.
- Lifting and carrying materials weighing 75+ pounds.
- Working from ladders, scaffolding, and elevated surfaces when necessary.
Travel
- Travel throughout our Northeast Pennsylvania territory using a company-provided service vehicle.
- Local daily travel is a regular part of the position.
Education & Experience
Preferred qualifications include:
- 1-2 years of experience in carpentry, construction, installation, or service technician work.
- Experience using technology to manage email, schedules, and service documentation; familiarity with Apple-based devices is a plus.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
