Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Lab Technician to join their team. As a Lab Technician, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting production and R&D teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Lab Technician
Location: Niagara Falls, NY
Pay Range: $21
Shift: Days (08:00am-4:30pm)
What's the Job?
- Perform standard and specialized quality testing on samples from various production phases.
- Organize and schedule sample workload, maintaining clear communication with plant personnel.
- Approve all samples in inventory, ensuring compliance with customer specifications.
- Maintain and monitor the on-hold log across the plant to ensure proper sample tracking.
- Prepare samples for analysis, including polishing, mounting, and testing with various instruments such as SEM, ICP, and TGA.
What's Needed?
- Ability to perform detailed laboratory tests and record results accurately.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple sample analyses efficiently.
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment maintenance and calibration procedures.
- Willingness to work collaboratively with manufacturing and R&D teams.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
