Line Cook – Samuel Avery’s Tavern

Samuel Avery’s Tavern, a new restaurant associated with the Pickering House Luxury Boutique Hotel, is seeking a passionate and reliable Line Cook to join our culinary team. This is an opportunity to be part of a thoughtfully designed dining experience focused on quality ingredients, consistency, and genuine hospitality in the heart of downtown Wolfeboro.

Responsibilities
- Set up and stock kitchen stations for daily service
- Prepare ingredients including cutting, chopping, mixing, and sauce preparation
- Cook menu items using grilling, sautéing, frying, and other techniques according to recipes and standards
- Maintain consistency, portion control, and presentation quality
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Properly label and store food products
- Clean and sanitize cooking equipment and workstations
- Complete food storage and temperature logs
- Assist with inventory checks and kitchen organization
- Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service
Qualifications
- Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required
