We are looking for a positive, energetic person who loves dogs. We are all about loving our dogs as if they were our own, hard work and having lots of fun with our furry clientele. We are looking for mainly those with kennel tech experience but are willing to train the right people!
The goal of this position will be to properly care for all in house dogs, complete daily cleaning list, and report any safety or health issues to Kennel Tech Manager.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Ensure safety & proper behavior of dogs in playgroups
- Ensure all dogs are fed and watered properly
- Perform daily cleaning list
- Actively participate in afternoon meeting & roll call
- Able to take take on delegated tasks from Management and Shift Leads
- Responsible for adherence to all policies in the Mud Puppies employee handbook
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in animal handling, kennel work, or veterinary assisting preferred
- Knowledge of dog training techniques and pet grooming is a plus
- Strong animal handling skills with the ability to restrain animals safely and humanely
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shifts
- Excellent customer service skills with a caring attitude toward pets and their owners
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate nature with a genuine love for animals and dedication to their well-being

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
