Key Qualifications:
- Approved as a School Social Worker by the Michigan Department of Education

- Able to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary school teams and families
- Exceptional communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities Include:
- Assess students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Develop and implement individualized plans to address barriers to learning
- Provide direct support and counseling to students, in both individual and group formats
- Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to coordinate interventions and reinforce positive social behaviors
- Serve as a liaison between school, home, and community resources as needed
- Support crisis intervention, prevention programs, and advocacy for student well-being
This contract role offers a consistent, full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, onsite at education locations near Ionia, Michigan, spanning from late August to mid-May.
