The Quality Engineer will represent the Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and Millennium Concepts System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Ensure enforcement of current quality policies, procedures, and objectives
- Review and approve new work planning to ensure compliance to customer PO and Customer engineering requirements
- Review non-conformances found during auditing; distribute to applicable business units
- Review and implement customer specification requirements while ensuring all specifications are at current revision
- Create/review NCRs in accordance with drawings, specifications, and internal requirements
- Create internal quality documents
- Perform Gap analysis of internal process to customer requirements to ensure compliance and approvals
- Perform required audits in a timely manner
- Support the maintenance and improvement of the Millennium Concepts, Inc. Quality Management System
- Monitor and manage internal and external calibrations
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:

- Prefer bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- 5+ year’s Quality experience, preferably in an aerospace manufacturing environment
- Must have experience in AS9100 systems & audits
- Knowledge of measuring equipment (e.g., micrometers, calipers, height gauges, Isoscope etc.)
- Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, specifications, general procedures, and government regulations.
- The ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Positive, can-do attitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
