Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Associate to join our insurance sales team! Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through active listening and engaging conversation
- Provide detailed product information, including features, benefits, and pricing to assist customers in making informed decisions
- Process transactions accurately using cash handling, cashiering, and cash management procedures
- Assist customers with banking or financial services inquiries, including insurance policies and account information
- Maintain knowledge of retail products, financial software, and store promotions to maximize sales opportunities
- Ensure the sales floor is well organized & clean, to create an inviting shopping experience
- Handle basic math calculations for transactions, discounts, and financial data entry with precision and efficiency
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Familiarity with banking, financial & insurance services environments is a plus
- Basic math skills including retail math and 10-key typing proficiency are essential for accurate transaction processing
- Experience with financial software or point-of-sale systems will be advantageous
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude are vital for success in this role to include being bi-lingual. (English & Spanish)
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
