Performs ordered examinations (PET/CT and/or Diagnostic CT) of appropriate anatomical regions in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols of the individual site reading physician

Maintains patient care, comfort, and safety during the transport to and from the mobile coach/facility, and during the exam

Maintains technical competency through continued education and participation in company sponsored training programs

Under guidance and approval of supervising physician, administers contrast agents and/or radiopharmaceuticals according to site-specific protocols

Completes and signs the Patient Screening form and reviews/explains the procedure to the patient

Provides images to the radiologist in the desired format

Performs equipment quality checks and troubleshoots problems. Calls for service and notifies all pertinent team members

If applicable, assists with the set up and/or shut down of equipment in accordance with CSNF and/or manufacturers’ guidelines

Maintains a clean environment inside and outside of the mobile coach/facility

Completes necessary administrative tasks (i.e. EMR charges, QA, Imaging Assessments)

Follows quality assurance guidelines and maintains patient confidentiality

Cooperates with facility healthcare professionals and complies with facility policies/procedures

Maintains current permits to practice

All other duties as assigned
Full-time position
Education and Experience:
-
High School diploma or equivalent required.
-
Certification through an accredited Nuclear Medicine and/or Radiology Program.

Two (2) to Five (5) years of PET/CT experience and/or general nuclear medicine experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
-
Registered with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board and/or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.

Current CNMT and/or ARRT (N)

For dual certified applicants, must hold CT certified license or be registry eligible.
