Responsibilities
- Oversee shift operations, ensuring all aspects of food preparation, service, and cleanliness meet company standards.
- Supervise and motivate team members, providing guidance on food handling, customer service, and operational procedures.
- Manage POS systems.
- Control inventory levels by monitoring stock, conducting regular audits, and assisting with food management to minimize waste.
- Train new staff and conduct ongoing training & development to enhance team performance and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to guarantee a positive dining experience.
- Assist in budgeting and shift planning to optimize restaurant efficiency during busy hours.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service management or supervising roles within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with previous management or assistant manager experience; ability to train and develop staff effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interview candidates and evaluate team performance.
- Experience in inventory control, food production.
