Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all spaces are welcoming and presentable. This position requires a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and an ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and other common areas to ensure they meet health and safety standards.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Follow established cleaning protocols for commercial spaces, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are cleaned according to schedule and standards.
- Adhere to safety guidelines while using cleaning equipment and chemicals.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and techniques is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team or independently when necessary.
