Under the direction of the Sr VP of HR, this position is responsible for supporting the daily functions of the Human Resources department at Coastal Communities Physician Network, Inc., including employee relations, onboarding, compliance, and implementation of HR policy. This role serves as a key resource for employees and managers while helping foster a positive, productive, and compliant workplace. The Coordinator 1 will interact with other departments, clinic personnel, and outside providers in a professional and friendly manner, to create and maintain a positive relationship with our internal and external customers.
- Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure the new employee has an educational and beneficial experience.
- Assist the Sr VP of HR with worker injuries/accidents.
- Assist the Sr VP of HR with periodic job description review.
- Assist the Bakersfield team with the following for the CCPN market:
- Cellular units
- Talent Acquisition
- MIS equipment: distribution, tracking, return items. Audits for all items.
- Employee Store
- Scrub Store
- Compliance/OSHA modules
- EDD Claims
- Tuition Reimbursement
- CME/CEU
- Distribution of live checks
- Assists Sr VP of HR with employee relations, counseling, and exit interviews
- Assist with voluntary and involuntary terminations
- Assist with bilingual program (levels 1 and 2)
- Assist and audit Electronic Document inventory
- Maintain copies of employee records/personnel file and ensure HR documentation is accurate, confidential, and compliant with applicable laws. Main HR department will be the keep the original records.
- Work with the Sr VP of HR to provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
- Assist the Sr VP of HR with employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events.
- Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Perform special projects as requested by the Sr VP of HR.
- Always serve as an ambassador for CCPN and to positively shape the employee experience.
- Be an active listener.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Two years of Human Resources experience in a coordinator or similar HR role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High level of discretion and ability to manage confidential information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). ADP preferred.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be reasonably between $24.27 and $28.55. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
