Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Previous experience working with students in K-12 educational environments is ideal
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on students’ strengths and areas for growth
- Deliver direct therapy to students in both individual and group settings
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to support student success in the classroom
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings and other relevant school functions
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field of speech-language pathology
