Job Description:
Oak Knoll Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to serve as a Nursing Supervisor. As a Nursing Supervisor, you will ensure high-quality patient care, support and guide nursing staff, and promote compliance with facility policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Train and support nursing staff; lead departmental processes and resolve challenges
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Supervise CNA assignments and shift transitions
Conduct resident rounds at least every two hours
Collaborate on care plans and participate in interdisciplinary care conferences
Assist with physician rounds and special procedures
Support performance evaluations and training initiatives for nursing staff
Document and report changes in resident conditions to appropriate parties
Maintain compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensed in the state of Massachusetts
Minimum 1 year of experience in geriatric or rehabilitation nursing preferred
CPR certified
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Able to document clearly and maintain compliance with all medical and facility guidelines
Proficient in Microsoft Office and use of standard office equipment
Able to work weekends and fulfill full-time hours, including leadership responsibilities
Excellent communication, conflict-resolution, and team-building skills
