Our bowling mechanic ensures lanes, pinsetters, pins, bowling balls, ball returns, and other related mechanical systems are operating at the highest level of efficiency. In addition, the assistant mechanic will help clean, bus tables, sell lanes, and maintain a healthy working environment. Pay starts at $13/hour, based on experience.
The assistant mechanic will:
- Maintain a safe and functional bowling and experience
- Repair and maintain mechanical equipment to ensure operational excellence
- Refurbish and repair pinsetters as needed
- Clean and run the lane machine daily
- Ensure that workshop and machine areas are clean and free of clutter at all times
- Troubleshoot, identify, and handle common malfunction calls
- Maintain facilities that are clean, safe, and in good repair
- Clean carpets/floors and other surfaces
- Must be able to get along with others
- Good communication skills
- Clean lanes, including gutters and approaches
- Help close and/or open building
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications
- Mechanical experience preferred
- Electrical knowledge preferred
- Computer knowledge preferred
- Be comfortable standing and walking around your entire shift
- Be able to work in confined spaces
- Must be able to work in high places
- Able to lift 50 lbs or more when needed
