The City of McDonough is accepting applications for the position of Stormwater Crew Worker. This is technical work requiring the application of acquired knowledge and skills. Work involves assisting the work crew, inspecting the Storm Water system, Jetting system infrastructure, and responding to Storm Water-related emergencies. Work is completed under the direct supervision of the Stormwater Supervisor.
Minimum qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent; Knowledge of standard Storm Water activities and practices; possess a valid State of Georgia driver’s license (Class C) and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and criminal history; some experience in equipment operating desired; Obtain Class A CDL within one year of employment; ability to obtain Class 1A Stormwater certification within one year; pass employment physical and drug and alcohol test
