The Loss Prevention Investigator will be based out of the Dallas, TX market area and will travel throughout the country. You will be on the road 100% of the time, working closely with assigned stores to investigate internal and external theft. You will gather evidence, identify offenders, detect patterns, and secure confessions to resolve cases and reduce inventory shrink. The Loss Prevention Investigator will adapt quickly to changing situations and communicate clearly to support store teams and ensure compliance across the organization.
Focus on cases to identify non-compliance through exception reports, behavioral observations, and employee tips. Work with Regional Directors, District Managers, Store Managers, and Store Associates on all things Loss Prevention related. Employ Company's interview technique (similar to Wicklander-Zulawski) while conducting conversations. Maintain detailed case files and documentation for legal and operational use. Deal with sensitive and confidential loss prevention information and issues discretely and ethically. Conduct LP audits in stores ensuring that they are following all LP related policies and procedures. Travel extensively to store locations within the geographic area of responsibility.
