Prairie Eye & Lasik Center is seeking a strong, people-focused Clinic Manager to lead operations at our Jacksonville, IL location. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving team performance, exceptional patient experience, and smooth daily clinic operations within a growing multi-location ophthalmology practice.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and hold staff accountable to performance and service standards
- Oversee daily clinic operations including scheduling, patient flow, and staffing coverage
- Foster a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and excellent patient experience
- Ensure compliance with company policies, HIPAA, and healthcare regulations
- Partner with leadership on performance metrics, goals, and continuous improvement
- Address employee issues appropriately and escalate when needed
- Monitor workflows and implement process improvements
- Support onboarding, training, and ongoing staff development
- Serve as the primary point of contact for your clinic location
Qualifications
- Prior leadership or management experience (2+ years of healthcare strongly preferred)
- Experience in optometry, ophthalmology or medical office practice highly valued
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Confident decision-maker who leads with professionalism and integrity
- Comfortable using EHR systems and standard office technology
- Proven ability to motivate teams and manage performance
- Ability to travel as needed
