The Concrete Equipment Outside Sales Representative's responsibilities include traveling to directly meet with potential and current clients to discuss their requirements, provide product and service demonstrations, negotiate sales and rental contracts, and inform them of new product and service releases and updates.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Communicates with existing customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products, services, or rentals to meet those needs.
- Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
- Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
- Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
- Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
- Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
- Works with internal staff to ensure all sales are handled correctly and expeditiously.
- Provides periodic sales forecasts.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Knowledge of concrete construction equipment and the concrete construction industry.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Education and Experience:
- At least five years of related concrete construction sales experience required.
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to travel.
