Position: Clinical Lab Scientist

Location: Eureka, CA
Duration: 13 weeks
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed laboratory testing using advanced molecular biology techniques, microbiology methods, histology procedures, and cell culture practices.
- Maintain precise laboratory records, documenting procedures, results, and observations in accordance with laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Perform quality control assessments to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results, adhering to GLP (Good Laboratory Practice), CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and FDA regulations.
- Operate and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment, including microscopes, spectrophotometers, centrifuges, and molecular analyzers.
- Implement sterile laboratory techniques and safety protocols to ensure a contamination-free environment and protect personnel from chemical or biological hazards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in biology, biochemistry, or related scientific field; advanced degrees preferred.
- Proven experience working in clinical or industrial laboratories with familiarity in microbiology, molecular biology, histology, or cell culture techniques.
- Strong understanding of laboratory compliance standards including GLP, CGMP, FDA regulations, and laboratory SOPs.
- Proficiency with laboratory information management systems (LIMS), Microsoft Office suite, and data collection tools.
Pay: $2,200.00 - $2,300.00 per week
