What You’ll Do
As a Civil Litigation Paralegal, you will assist attorneys with a broad range of litigation matters in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Your work will include:
- Managing and organizing case files from intake through resolution
- Requesting, tracking, reviewing, and summarizing records, bills, reports, and key documents
- Drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, subpoenas, correspondence, and other legal documents
- Monitoring deadlines, court dates, discovery obligations, and case milestones
- Preparing attorneys for hearings, mediations, arbitrations, depositions, and trials
- Communicating professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, insurers, medical providers, and experts
- Helping identify missing information, case issues, and next steps
- Supporting attorneys in moving cases forward efficiently and effectively
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy litigation environment. You do not need to know everything on day one, but you should bring strong legal experience, good judgment, and a willingness to take ownership of your work.
Preferred qualifications include:
- At least 3 years of legal experience
- Civil litigation experience strongly preferred
- Massachusetts litigation experience preferred
- Rhode Island litigation experience a plus
- Strong writing, proofreading, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities
- Comfort working independently and collaboratively
- Professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
- Familiarity with legal case management systems, Microsoft Office, and electronic filing

Schedule and Location
This is a full-time, in-office position based in Taunton, Massachusetts.
The regular schedule is Monday through Friday.
