Penfield Country Club Is Hiring A Lunch Cook
Penfield Country Club is seeking an experienced and dependable cook to join our culinary team. This position is responsible for opening and operating the lunch kitchen while supporting banquet and club operations as needed.
We are looking for someone with professional kitchen experience who can work independently, stay organized, and help maintain a clean and efficient operation. The ideal candidate should be comfortable leading the daytime kitchen flow, writing prep lists, and executing service in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities Include:
- Opening The Kitchen Daily
- Unlocking And Preparing Kitchen Facilities For Service
- Turning On And Setting Up Kitchen Equipment
- Setting Up And Organizing Dish Area
- Writing And Executing Daily Prep Lists
- Lunch Line Execution
- Sandwich, Salad, Fryer, And Sauté Preparation
- Maintaining Pars And Station Readiness
- Assisting With Banquets And Club Events
- Maintaining Cleanliness, Organization, And Food Safety Standards
- Assisting With Ordering, Product Rotation, And Kitchen Organization As Needed
Qualifications:
- Previous Professional Cooking Experience Required
- Ability To Work Independently Without Constant Supervision
- Strong Organizational Skills
- Ability To Prioritize And Multitask During Busy Service Periods
- Reliable Transportation
- Weekend Availability Required
- Country Club Or High Volume Restaurant Experience Preferred
Compensation:
- $20–$24 Per Hour Based On Experience
