Job Summary
An OT provides professional services within the scope of occupational therapy practice standards in collaboration with primary care physicians and other members of the health care team and teaches and educates patients and their families. OT in the home is performed under the supervision of the RN case manager, Administrator, DPCS. If Nursing has opened the case, Occupational Therapy is a secondary discipline and therefore works collaboratively and professionally with the RN case manager to provide necessary services.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved professional Occupational Therapy program
- Currently licensed “in good standing” in CA
- Minimum of two (2) year of experience as a occupational therapist, preferably in a home care setting
- Must have criminal background check
- Must have current CPR certification
