We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farm Worker to join our agricultural team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for farming, along with the ability to operate various types of farm machinery and equipment. This role involves a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall productivity and maintenance of the farm, ensuring that all operations run smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Assist in daily farm operations, including planting, cultivating, and harvesting various crops such as grapes, vegetables, and crop maintence.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery such as tractors, forklifts, and irrigation systems.
- Perform equipment repairs and maintenance as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various farming tasks.
- Assist with greenhouse operations and horticultural practices as required.
Experience
- Previous experience in farming or agriculture is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment effectively.
- Experience with heavy lifting and operating heavy equipment safely.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, growing practices, and horticulture is beneficial.
