Day Program Direct Care Provider (DTA)

About the Position
Quincea is looking for dependable, patient, hardworking, and active staff to join our Day Program team supporting adults with developmental disabilities. Our program is highly active and community-based, focused on helping members stay engaged, independent, safe, and included throughout the day.
This is not a sit-down position. Staff should be energetic, hands-on, and comfortable working in an active environment that may include walking, outdoor activities, stairs, community outings, recreational activities, gym activities, farm work, and daily life skills support.
Experience is a plus, but not required. We believe some of the best staff are individuals who are dependable, coachable, willing to learn, and genuinely care about helping others. Responsibilities
* Support adults with developmental disabilities in daily activities and community outings
* Assist members with life skills, recreational activities, exercise, and social engagement
* Promote independence, inclusion, respect, and personal choice
* Maintain member safety and well-being throughout the day
* Document member progress and complete required logs and documentation
* Maintain confidentiality in accordance with Quincea policies and state/federal regulations
* Follow Individual Service Plans (ISP) and agency procedures
* Administer prescribed medications as trained and authorized
* Report incidents and concerns appropriately and within required timelines
* Attend required trainings and staff meetings
* Assist with transportation duties when required
* Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED preferred
* Experience in direct care, behavioral health, or related fields is helpful but not required
* Must be at least 18 years old (23 years old to drive company vehicles)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with individuals with disabilities
Physical Requirements
This position is physically active and may include:
* Walking for extended periods
* Going up and down stairs
* Outdoor activities and exposure to heat
* Assisting members with mobility and daily routines
* Lifting and/or moving 50+ pounds
* Bending, kneeling, reaching, stretching, and assisting with transfers when needed
Preferred Certifications & Requirements
* Article 9 certification preferred (or willing to obtain upon hire)
* CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willing to obtain upon hire)
* Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card required
* Ability to pass background screening requirements
* Valid Arizona Driver License and acceptable driving record if transporting members
