Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Carpenter to join our team. In this role, you will lead a crew on various projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and up to our quality standards. You’ll work hands-on in the field and coordinate closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of rough and finish carpentry, including framing, trim, doors, cabinetry, etc.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, 3D renderings, and project plans to meet job specifications
- Oversee on-site operations and lead a team of laborers
- Track materials, schedule inspections, and keep job sites clean and organized
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies
- Inspect ongoing and completed work for accuracy and quality
- Communicate effectively with Project Managers, subcontractors, internal team members, and customers
- Train and mentor internal team members as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience, including supervisory/leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of residential and commercial construction practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and project plans
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Pay: $23.00 - $33.42 per hour
