Position Summary
Empire Vue LLC is seeking an experienced, motivated, and dependable Job Site Foreman / Lead to oversee residential and commercial construction projects throughout the Puget Sound region. The Foreman is responsible for supervising field employees, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, enforcing safety standards, ensuring quality workmanship, and serving as the primary on-site representative of the company.
This position requires a working leader who is willing to perform construction work alongside the crew while directing daily job site operations.
Primary ResponsibilitiesProject Management
- Lead daily construction operations from project start through completion.
- Read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, engineering details, and specifications.
- Plan daily work activities and assign tasks to crew members.
- Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, suppliers, and material deliveries.
- Maintain project schedules and communicate delays immediately.
- Ensure projects remain within budget and production goals.
- Maintain organized, clean, and professional job sites.
Crew Leadership
- Supervise field employees and subcontractors.
- Lead by example with professionalism and work ethic.
- Train new employees on company standards and procedures.
- Conduct daily morning job briefings.
- Monitor crew productivity and quality.
- Address employee performance issues when necessary.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and efficiency.
Quality Control
- Inspect all phases of construction for workmanship.
- Verify work complies with plans, specifications, and building codes.
- Correct deficiencies before progressing to the next phase.
- Complete punch lists and final quality inspections.
- Maintain Empire Vue LLC's standards of craftsmanship.
Safety Responsibilities
- Enforce OSHA and Washington State L&I safety regulations.
- Ensure proper PPE is worn at all times.
- Conduct daily safety meetings.
- Identify and eliminate unsafe job site conditions.
- Report accidents, injuries, or property damage immediately.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Customer Relations
- Serve as the primary on-site representative of Empire Vue LLC.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, clients, inspectors, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Keep customers informed of project progress.
- Resolve field issues professionally and efficiently.
- Represent the company with honesty, integrity, and professionalism.
Materials & Equipment
- Verify material deliveries for accuracy and quality.
- Track material usage and minimize waste.
- Maintain company tools and equipment.
- Report damaged or missing equipment.
- Coordinate equipment rentals when needed.
- Ensure tools and equipment are secured at the end of each workday.
Documentation
- Complete daily job reports.
- Record labor hours.
- Photograph project progress.
- Document change orders and unforeseen conditions.
- Maintain inspection records.
- Report schedule updates to the office.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of construction experience.
- Minimum 2 years of crew leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding of residential and commercial construction practices.
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
- Knowledge of Washington State building codes.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Valid Washington State Driver License with clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds regularly.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Work Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Occasional evenings and weekends as project schedules require.
- Typical workday begins between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, depending on project requirements.
