We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Infusion Nurse (RN) to join our integrative health clinical team. The Infusion Nurse will be responsible for safely administering IV infusions, injections, and related therapies while providing exceptional patient care and education in an outpatient infusion setting. Hours Monday-Thursday 8-5 Friday 8-3
Key Responsibilities
- Administer IV infusions, injections, and medications per provider orders and protocols
- Perform venipuncture, IV insertion, and management of peripheral and central lines (PICC, ports)
- Monitor patients during and after infusions for adverse reactions
- Provide patient education on medications, side effects, and post-infusion care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record
- Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team members
- Respond appropriately to infusion reactions and medical emergencies
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- Strong IV and venous access skills required
- Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred, if applicable)
- Excellent communication, assessment, and patient-education skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous nursing experience
- Experience with hydration therapy, iron infusions, or specialty medications
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Manual dexterity for IV placement
