Persinger & Associates, Inc. is a general contractor based in Charleston, WV. We are currently seeking a hardworking and dependable construction laborer to join our team. This position plays an essential role in supporting commercial and residential construction projects by preparing jobsites, handling materials and helping maintain a safe and productive work environment. You will be responsible for performing manual labor tasks such as loading and unloading materials, operating machinery, cleaning and maintaining work areas, and assisting with other duties as needed.
The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience in a similar role, be physically fit, and have the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and clean-up of construction sites.
- Unload and load construction materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
- Follow instructions from supervisors regarding tasks and safety protocols.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and machinery, with willingness to learn on the job
- Help with the installation of structures, frameworks, and fixtures.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety regulations.
- Perform physical labor such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
