This is a full-time position for one dedicated member to become an asset to our team. Pay is dependent on experience.
- Overview: We are seeking a friendly and outgoing Host/Host to join our team at Georgie. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
- Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm welcome and seat them in a timely manner
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entrance and restrooms.
- Communicate effectively with guests, servers, and managers to ensure smooth operations
- Answer phone calls and handle guest inquiries, providing accurate information about the restaurant and menu
- Utilize the Resy system for seating assignments and making reservation
- Previous experience in hospitality or a customer service role is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Resy and Toast or similar restaurant software is a plus
- Strong guest relations skills with a focus on delivering exceptional service
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and reservation management
- Passion for the food service industry and creating memorable guest experiences
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
