This position will serve as a long-term substitute for a Grade 8 English teacher in the Middle School from approximately November, 2026, through April, 2027. The individual selected for this position would report daily for a substitute assignment. The Bermudian Springs School District utilizes the substitute services of The Substitute Teacher Service (STS) for our substitute teachers. In addition, the Bermudian Springs School District will utilize substitutes in accordance with Act 86. The Act allows students enrolled in an accredited Pennsylvania college or university who are currently pursuing teacher certification to participate in a program that would allow them to substitute teach once they have earned 60 credit hours.
