Security & Fire Technician
Location: Cypress, Texas

Pay: $21.00 – $35.00 per hour (based on experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Security & Fire Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for the installation, service, troubleshooting, and maintenance of commercial fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intrusion, and related low-voltage systems.

Job Responsibilities
- Install, service, inspect, and troubleshoot fire alarm and security systems
- Program and test system functionality
- Perform repairs, maintenance, and system upgrades
- Complete service documentation and job reports accurately
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and company procedures
Requirements
- Security system experience including CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems
- Must have own tools
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background screening
- Ability to lift equipment and work on ladders as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Fire alarm installation/service experience
- Active Fire License preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and programming skills
- Commercial low-voltage experience preferred
Travel Requirements
- Up to 10% travel within Texas
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- Full-time hours
- No weekends
- No mandatory on-call
