Position Responsibilities:

2 years of Paralegal experience or a Paralegal certificate.

Directly supports all DESCP attorneys in the representation of DESCP clients.

Conduct legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw.

Prepare legal memoranda, briefs, and case summaries.

Maintain case files and legal documentation.

Support attorneys with case preparation and client support.

Utilizes databases such as LexisNexis, Westlaw, VA’s Veterans Tracking Application (VTA), and their websites to conduct legal research.

Manage schedules, reports, and administrative functions.
Skills and Experience:

2 years of Paralegal experience or a Paralegal certificate.

Strong legal research and writing skills.

Microsoft Office proficiency.

Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Professional communication and teamwork skills.
Position Information:

Full Time, FLSA Exempt, US Citizen

Salary: $24.61/hr, PTO, Health Insurance
