Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead to oversee and coordinate complex construction projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. As a key leader on our team, you will manage diverse aspects of construction operations, from initial planning and blueprint interpretation to hands-on supervision of skilled trades. Your expertise will drive project success while fostering a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead impactful projects across various construction disciplines such as interior and exterior remodels/renovations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Supervise and mentor construction crews, including carpenters, and other skilled trades.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide project execution accurately.
- Oversee the installation of framing, siding, stucco, roofing, drywall, painting, and trim carpentry to ensure quality workmanship.
- Manage material procurement and ensure proper use of hand tools and power tools.
- Enforce safety protocols on-site to maintain a secure work environment for all team members.
- Conduct inspections of work progress and perform concrete finishing, plastering, restoration work, and masonry as needed.
- Document project milestones through detailed reports and maintain accurate records of site activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in concrete forming, drywall, roofing, siding, remodeling, or related fields.
- Extensive hands on experience with concrete finishing techniques, framing carpentry (including woodworking), drywall, and schematics reading.
- Skilled in the operation of power tools used in construction sites.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and translate schematics into actionable tasks.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for construction site management.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills
