We are seeking a Front Desk Attendant to join our team. This position serves as a key ambassador of the hotel by creating exceptional first impressions, delivering personalized service, and ensuring a seamless guest experience throughout the stay.
Position Summary
The Front Desk Attendant is responsible for welcoming guests, managing the check-in and check-out process, handling reservations and guest inquiries, and serving as a central point of communication between guests and hotel departments. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, detail-focused, professional, and committed to providing outstanding hospitality in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, departure, and throughout their stay.

Process guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and payment transactions accurately and efficiently.

Respond to guest requests, concerns, and service recovery opportunities in a timely and professional manner.

Answer incoming calls, provide hotel information, and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments.

Assist with reservation creation, modifications, cancellations, and room assignments.

Maintain accurate guest records and documentation within hotel operating systems.

Balance cash drawers, process financial transactions, and complete required shift audits and reports.

Communicate guest preferences, maintenance concerns, and operational issues to appropriate departments.

Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, dining outlets, events, and local attractions.

Support hotel revenue initiatives through upselling and guest engagement opportunities.

Uphold Marriott service standards and contribute to a positive guest experience.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn hotel operating systems.

Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
-
Previous front desk, hotel, hospitality, customer service, or guest-facing experience.

Experience with LightSpeed, FOSSE, MARSHA, MICROS, or other hotel management systems.

Previous experience in a Marriott-branded hotel environment.
Schedule Requirements

Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as business needs require.

Regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the position.

The hotel operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Part-time associates must maintain a minimum availability of 16 hours per week.
