Position Overview
A top contractor is seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs and providing detailed estimates for electrical installations. This role is crucial for ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget, while adhering to industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities

Review project plans and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates for electrical projects.

Prepare detailed takeoffs and material lists using specialized software such as Trimble and Accubid.

Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and objectives.

Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs to prepare comprehensive estimates.

Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather necessary information for accurate bidding.
Qualifications

At least 3+ years of proven experience as an electrical estimator in the construction industry.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems and installation practices.

Proficient in using estimating software, particularly Trimble and Accubid.

Ability to perform detailed takeoffs and cost analyses.

Relevant certifications or degree in electrical engineering or construction management is a plus.
