Licensing Requirement (Job Contingent)
This position is contingent upon obtaining required insurance licenses.
- Property & Casualty license must be obtained prior to your Day 1 start (full support provided)
- Life & Health license must be obtained within 45 days of your start date
- We provide guidance, resources, and support to help you successfully complete the licensing process
Role Overview
As an Acquisitions Specialist, your primary focus is driving new business and building a strong pipeline of opportunities. You will engage prospective customers, conduct needs-based conversations, and close sales. In addition, you may assist with light service work to support overall office operations and customer satisfaction.
Success in this role is measured by activity, pipeline management, and closed production.
Key Responsibilities
Generate new business through outbound calls, referrals, and community outreach
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers
Conduct needs-based conversations and recommend appropriate coverage solutions
Quote, present, and close auto, home, renters, and life insurance policies
Follow up consistently to convert opportunities into sales
Assist with light service tasks such as basic policy updates, billing questions, and customer inquiries
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity
Track performance and progress toward established production goals
Collaborate with team members to support overall agency growth
Ensure compliance with agency standards and applicable regulations
Qualifications
Sales-driven mindset with a strong desire to meet and exceed goals
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Confidence initiating conversations and asking for the business
Ability to multitask and balance sales with light service responsibilities
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Prior sales, marketing, or customer-facing experience preferred
Ability to meet licensing requirements outlined above
