Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterile Processor - Sterile Processing Technician to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and assemble surgical instruments and medical devices according to established protocols.
- Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, and sterilizers following manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of sterile supplies, ensuring proper stock levels and timely reordering.
- Follow strict aseptic techniques during processing to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with infection control standards.
- Document all sterilization cycles, equipment maintenance, and processing activities thoroughly.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to understand instrument needs and ensure timely availability of sterile supplies.
- Conduct routine quality checks on sterilized items, verifying cleanliness, functionality, and proper packaging.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sterile processing or a related healthcare environment.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to understand instrument use and handling requirements.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to surgical instruments and procedures.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems for tracking supplies and sterilization cycles.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques to maintain sterile fields during processing.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions precisely while maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene.

Pay: $28.32 - $34.11 per hour
