We are seeking a Freight Logistics Specialist to support our clients, carriers, and internal operations with accuracy, urgency, and professionalism.
What You’ll Do
- Client & Carrier Communication — Serve as the primary contact for clients, carriers, shippers, and consignees via phone, email, fax, and web portals. Communicate information clearly, factually, and professionally.
- Carrier Scheduling — Coordinate and schedule pick‑ups with carriers to meet client timelines.
- Routing & Mode Selection — Determine optimal routing and transportation mode based on delivery requirements, distance, shipment characteristics, and special service needs (e.g., lift gate, inside delivery, blanket wrap).
- Carrier Vetting — Use provided tools to evaluate truckload carriers and protect against fraud, double brokering, and safety risks.
- Shipment Entry & Documentation — Accurately enter shipments into the UTS System, ensuring all critical information is captured or proactively obtained.
- Dispatch & Shipment Management — Dispatch loads, monitor performance, and manage on‑time, damage‑free delivery—including expedited and dedicated shipments.
- Tracking & Tracing — Perform shipment tracing and provide updates to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded.
- Claims Support — Follow procedures for lost or damaged freight; research and investigate claims as directed.

- Experience in freight, logistics, or transportation (preferred)
