At Collins Eye Clinic we believe in working together to provide the best eye care for our patients. We are currently hiring for an Ophthalmic Technician to join our team!
Certification preferred, COA or COT.
Ophthalmic Technician Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional patient care during every encounter
- Display a professional attitude
- Verify patient information by interviewing patient
- Record medical history, current medications, and confirm purpose of visit
- Record all data in the patient's electronic medical record
- Checks condition of patient's eyes by observing pupils, muscles, visual acuity, and extraocular movements
- Preferred skills include: dilation, pressures, and performing a variety of diagnostic tests
- General office duties and cleaning
Ophthalmic Technician Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must possess strong computer skills
- One-year related experience preferred
- COA or COT certification preferred but will consider otherwise qualified candidates with less experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
