C&L Farms is hiring a Full-Time Farm Mechanic
Who we are:
Our Florida Farm is located in Punta Gorda, FL. C&L Farms is one of the largest watermelon farming operations in the state of Florida.
Job Description:
- This person must be able to work on their own, and be self sufficient.
- Commonsense leadership of yourself will be required.
- Work with our farm team, and warehouse packing team as an on-site mechanic.
- Communicate daily with our leadership team.
- This person must maintain a positive and helpful attitude and work well with others.
- This person needs to be able to text for daily group updates.
- This person needs to be able to deal with our dedicates parts stores and tractor dealerships for parts and service guidance.
- This person will work on the following equipment which includes but it not fully limited to: tractors, farm equipment, farm vehicles and more.
- Welding will be required at times as well.
- Regular maintenance on farm equipment, including oil changes, etc.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of diverse experience as a mechanic or maintenance employee, with references. Car Dealerships/Tire Shops/Oil Change does not apply here.
- Must be able to work 5 days per week, and open to 7 days per week in peak season.
- Bi-Lingual is a Plus!
- A personal vehicle that provides you with reliable transportation.
Pay:
This person will be provided with a service truck.
This is a salaried position. We will pay based off experience. Please contact us quickly, as we plan to fill this position as soon as possible.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
