We're looking for a creative and driven Social Media Manager to own and grow our social media presence. If you're someone who loves creating engaging content, spotting trends, telling stories through photography and video, and building online communities, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
As our Social Media Manager, you'll own the day-to-day management of Olive & Cocoa's social media channels.
Content Strategy & Planning
- Develop and maintain the social media content calendar.
- Plan content around seasonal campaigns, product launches, and company initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to increase engagement and brand awareness.
- Identify and adapt trends to match our story.
Content Creation
- Capture original photography and video content.
- Create Reels, Stories, and other short-form videos.
- Write engaging, on-brand captions.
- Schedule and publish content across social media platforms.
Community Engagement
- Monitor comments, messages, tags, and mentions.
- Build relationships with our online community.
- Respond to customer interactions while maintaining Olive & Cocoa's brand voice.
- Escalate customer service concerns when appropriate.
Campaigns & Promotions
- Help coordinate giveaways and promotional campaigns.
- Support influencer and partnership initiatives.
- Create creative assets for paid social campaigns.
Performance & Innovation
- Track engagement, audience growth, and campaign performance.
- Prepare monthly performance reports and recommendations.
- Stay current on social media trends and platform updates.
- Continuously look for creative ways to tell the Olive & Cocoa story.
What We're Looking For
- 2–4 years of professional social media experience.
- Experience managing business social media accounts.
- Strong photography and videography skills.
- Excellent copywriting and storytelling ability.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar creative software.
- Familiarity with Meta Business Suite and social media scheduling platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a creative team.
- Passion for lifestyle brands, design, gifting, or retail is a plus.

A Few Things to Know
This is an in-person position based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Because much of our content is created on-site with our products and teams, remote work is not available for this role.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
